12 Things That Improved My Sleep (After Years of Bad Sleep)

For years, my sleep was not as good as I wanted it to be. But starting in 2018, after making changes to improve my health, I slowly began adding habits that I believe helped improve my sleep.

In this video, I share the 12 things I changed that have helped me sleep better over the years. These are simple things that anyone can try, and most of them cost little or no money.

Some of the changes I made include:
• Stopping eating late in the day
• Exercising in the late afternoon or evening
• Making my bedroom darker
• Keeping my bedroom cool
• Taking an evening shower
• Using a sleep mask
• Creating a bedtime routine
• Changing bedroom lighting
• Using melatonin carefully
• Getting morning sunlight
• Removing sleep distractions
• Creating habits that tell my brain it is time to sleep

I believe sleep is one of the most overlooked parts of health. Unlike many health improvements, improving your sleep is something you can often work on yourself by making small daily changes.

Of course, everyone is different, and what works for me may not work exactly the same way for someone else. But these are the things I have personally incorporated into my life that seem to have made a difference.

I hope this gives you some ideas to experiment with and find what helps you sleep better.
