"My brain never know how to stop thinking."
HSP(Highly Sensitive Person)

"My Brain Never Knows How to Stop Thinking."
Ever since I was a child, people have always told me, "You overthink too much," or "You should take it easy."
But those words never really felt right to me. I always wondered, what does "overthinking" even mean? Where is the line between thinking and thinking too much?
As I grew older and started a new chapter of my life back in Japan after living abroad, that tendency to overthink became even more noticeable. Around that time, I came across the term HSP (Highly Sensitive Person).
An HSP is someone who is naturally highly sensitive—someone who is more deeply affected by things like sounds, light, emotions, and everyday experiences, and who tends to process things very deeply.
Learning about HSP gave me a sense of relief. For the first time, I felt like I finally understood myself. But at the same time, it made me wonder how I could learn to live with this part of who I am.
I don't think I'll ever stop overthinking or being deeply affected by other people's words. That's simply how I'm wired.
But there's another side to it.
Because I feel things deeply, I'm able to empathize with others, understand their emotions, and be there for them. Even a simple "thank you" can mean more to me than it might to someone else.
Being highly sensitive isn't just a weakness. When you learn to embrace it, it can become one of your greatest strengths and a beautiful part of who you are.
I hope that through this podcast, I can help others feel a little less alone, a little more understood, and remind them that being sensitive isn't something they need to hide—it's something they can learn to appreciate.
