For decades, I've described certain seasons of my life as "crashing."

After a move, a busy period, a major project, family gatherings, or other significant life changes, I would often feel exhausted, disconnected, and unable to find my creative footing. I assumed I was burned out.

Recently, while learning more about Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) and transition sensitivity, I began to see those experiences differently.

What if I wasn't crashing?
What if I was recovering?

In this video, I'm sharing a personal realization that has helped me better understand myself at 70 years old, why transitions affect me so deeply, and how small creative projects help me gently find my way back to myself.

I'm still learning, still connecting dots, and still discovering new things about who I am and how I move through the world. One of the gifts of aging is realizing that self-discovery never really ends.
