In this video, I explain how the evolution of computing is shifting from programming the “how” to declaring the “what,” enabling AI to transform the way we solve problems. I introduce the principles of computational thinking and demonstrate how I apply them in my daily work through AI-augmented workflows and agentic automation. Using real-world examples, I show how I leveraged ChatGPT to organize faculty discussions, Google Opal to automate multimedia content creation, and generative AI to restore and redesign a family photo collage. Throughout the presentation, I emphasize the importance of iterative prompting, validation, and human judgment while discussing the opportunities and risks of AI. I conclude by exploring how AI can amplify creativity, productivity, scholarly impact, and communication in higher education and beyond.
