Craft smarter. Math never. 😂

I already know AI + creativity can be a controversial combination, so this one should be interesting. 😂

I use AI in my creative business in a LOT of different ways, including in my design process, and I’m always experimenting with what it can do.

But some of my favorite uses aren’t nearly that exciting. 😴🥱

Sometimes it’s just:

“I don’t own that tool. What else can I use?”

“Please do this math because absolutely not.” 🧮

“Here are the supplies I already own. What could I do with them?”

Or, especially when you’re exploring a new hobby or craft…

“I know something is missing here, but I don’t know what. Give me some things to consider.”

What I love about that last one is that you don’t have to follow a single suggestion. Sometimes one idea is enough to make your brain go, “No… but WAIT. What if I…”

And off you go.

AI is a tool. 🤖How each of us chooses to use that tool in our creative process is going to be different, and I think that’s a much more interesting conversation than whether everyone has to use it the same way.

Are you using AI anywhere in your crafting yet? If you are, what’s the most unexpectedly useful thing you’ve asked it to do?
