The News Today On NVIDIA Stock, Micron Stock, AI Buildout - NVDA Update
Hosts of CNBC, Bloomberg, and Schwab Network discuss NVIDIA, NVIDIA stock (NVDA stock), Micron, Micron stock (MU stock), and the AI buildout. On Monday, NVIDIA and MediaTek announced an expanded partnership. Under the partnership, MediaTek will adopt NVIDIA's NVLink Fusion platform providing hyperscaler, CSP, and frontier model companies with a prevalidated path to develop custom XPUs and bring them into NVIDIA NVLink-connected, rack-scale AI factories. This is a big deal. We already know Amazon's Trainium 4 integrates NVLink Fusion. Interestingly, MediaTek is involved in Google's 8th generation TPU program. I think TPUs that are integrated with NVIDIA systems via NVLink Fusion is a likely eventuality. Also on Monday, CrowdStrike launched Falcon IQ to operationalize Project Quiltworks at machine speed. NVIDIA's open Nemotron models power the agentic engine at the heart of Falcon IQ. Over the weekend, OpenRouter shared some very interesting details regarding token costs and usage following price cuts on some OpenAI models. Usage surged as prices were reduced. In other news, The Information reported that China's CXMT has begun small-volume production of HBM3E. Also, a well-known analyst from TF International Securities posted online, saying their industry survey indicates that NVIDIA is reviving Rubin CPX efforts, which many thought was abandoned after NVIDIA struck a deal with Groq and unveiled NVIDIA Groq 3 LPX at GTC. The post claims that Rubin CPX has been redesigned and now includes upgraded memory versus the original Rubin CPX design. Looking ahead, Jensen Huang is scheduled to speak at a conference hosted by Goldman Sachs on September 10, 2026. We have Micron earnings on September 30, 2026. And then Jensen is scheduled to deliver a GTC keynote at GTC Berlin on October 21, 2026. I continue to be bullish on NVIDIA long-term. NVIDIA has multiple large long-term growth opportunities in front of it. Sovereign AI, enterprise AI, AI-native startups, physical AI, and quantum computing are all large long-term growth opportunities for NVIDIA. Blackwell Ultra has ramped quickly and remains in high demand. Vera Rubin is rolling out to customers. NVIDIA Groq 3 LPX is in full production. We're expecting Rubin Ultra in 2027. And later on, we're expecting NVIDIA's Feynman in 2028. We have a clear datacenter product roadmap extending into 2028, and Jensen Huang believes there will be $3T-$4T of global AI factory buildout annually by the end of the decade.
