The United Nations says civilian casualties in Ukraine reached their highest monthly level since March 2022 in July 2026. The UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission verified at least 437 civilians killed and 2,610 injured during the month, a 30% increase from June and a 70% rise compared with July 2025. The UN said the actual figure is likely higher as verification continues.
