An astonishing new video which emerged from onboard the rat-virus-infected 'plague ship' shows the captain telling passengers that a man who had passed away had died from 'natural causes' and was 'not infectious'.

Filmed on April 12, it came before hantavirus, a rare but serious disease believed to be spread among rats, was identifed. Oceanwide Expeditions said "at the time of the first death on 11 April, the cause of death was unknown and there was no evidence of a virus or contagion on board MV Hondius."
