This is Episode 2 of my "What I Pack My Kids (No Stress)" series where I share realistic school lunch ideas, easy meals, and simple recipes families can recreate without stress.

This meal may not be a traditional Nigerian recipe, but it is one of the meal ideas I learned living in Canada that many Nigerian families can easily make at home using simple ingredients and an oven.

For the beef sauce, I used:
ground beef, fresh onion, tomato paste or tomato sauce, herbs, spices, seasonings, and a little cooking oil to build flavor naturally.

Then I cooked the macaroni until almost done, layered everything with cheese and crackers for crunch, and baked it until golden and cheesy.

One important tip:
I like using more herbs and spices to help reduce the amount of Maggi cubes or bouillon powder while still keeping the meal tasty.
